Amazon launches Freedive with Internet Movie Database (IMDb) in US

Online retail giant Amazon launched Freedive in the United States. Freedive is a TV show and movie streaming platform which supports ads and comes with Internet Movie Database (IMDb)

The AVOD service would be available in the US from 11th January on all Amazon Fire TV devices and on the IMDb website.

The users of Freedive TV would see the content on IMDb Freedive logo which is on the ‘Your Apps and Channels’ section.

A user can watch hit Hollywood shows like Monster, the illusionist, Foxcatcher and Memento without purchasing a subscription.

The Freedive catalogue would continue to evolve with new shows and titles as per the statement from IMDb.

Col Needham, the Founder, and CEO of IMDb stated that is user rely on their service to discover movies and TV shows and later decide what to watch.

He stated that customers can now watch full-length movies and TV shows with the IMDb Freedive and Amazon Fire TV for free.
